All Girls High School Experience!

I loved attending an all-girls school, I would do it again! I would send my children to single sex high schools too.

I developed a sense of self, confidence, and leadership in four years that may have taken longer had I been distracted by boys. (I'm just being honest!)

There were plenty of opportunities to meet boys and be with boys outside of school, plus I learned that there is more to life than having a boyfriend or impressing a boy. I was ok with being myself.

We girls got to be the best athletes, musicians, and students!

We also got to be the ones that got in trouble :)

There weren't "popular" crowds or people because that usually stems from opinions of the opposite sex.

There was a sense of community and belonging throughout the school due to us all being relational women :) Single sex institutions have long histories of tradition and it is fun to be part of it all!

Basically, boys and girls are different. We learn differently and we relate differently. The four years of high school are critical years in developing a sense of identity and purpose. In my opinion a stronger foundation can be built for the rest of life if high schools can remove the distraction of the opposite sex.
